Born on 26.3.1956 in a family of Lawyers. Father is late Advocate K.K. Bhaskaran, mother Mrinalini who still stays at Cochin, Kerala State. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1982 and had practiced in almost all the High Courts of India and Supreme Court and also courts abroad.

After graduation in Sociology, law degree was taken from Ernakulam Law College of Kerala University. LLM in Criminal Law from Utkal University, Doctorate was on the subject of Study of Sentencing Technology of Indian Judiciary from Utkal University. Had been office bearer of Kerala High Court Advocates' Association and several other organizations. Married to Neetha who is a Senior Manager in Syndicate Bank. Childran Durga and Ranjan are students and are presently settled in Bangalore.

First appointment is as Judicial Member at Patna Bench. Thereafter was transferred to Jodhpur, but had served at various Benches including Principal Bench, Bangalore Bench, Ernakulam Bench, Jabalpur Bench and Ahmedabad Bench. Currently serving at Jodhpur Bench.
