Born on 24.06.1948 in BANDA (U.P.)

Post Graduated in History in 1970 and Graduated in Law in 1968 from the University of Allahabad.

Entered State Judicial Service in 1972 and Higher Judicial Service in 1985. Served as Additional District and Sessions Judge Sitapur and Allahabad. Served as Joint Registrar and Registrar in Lucknow Bench of High Court of Judicature at Allahabad from May 1988 to June 1994. Served as Registrar, Allahabad High Court from April 1995 to to July 2002.

Served as District and Sessions Judge, Jhansi and Agra from July 2002 to December 2004.

Appointed as Registrar General, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on December 06, 2004.

Elevated to the Bench of High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on 20.10.2005. Relinquished office in the afternoon of 23.06.2010 on the completion of tenure.

Appointed as Member (Judicial), Central Administrative Tribunal and assumed charge on23.09.2010 forenoon in Lucknow Bench.
