Educational Qualification - B.Sc. and L.L.B. from University of Himachal Pradesh

Appointed as Law Officer in the office of advocate general, State of Himachal Pradesh in the year 1979 and thereafter worked in different capacities as Assistant Advocate General and Deputy Advocate General

Appeared before the Principal Bench of Hon'ble the Chief Justice, High Court of Himachal Pradesh for a period of 23 years

While in the capacity of Law Officer of State of Himachal Pradesh conducted cases pertaining to Constitutional Matters, Service Matters, Criminal Matters, Civil Matters, etc. in which the State Government was party

Was also declared as Additional Public Prosecutor to appear in Criminal Matters before the High Court of Himachal Pradesh pursuant to the recommendations made by the Full Court of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh

Elevated as Judicial Member in the Central Administrative Tribunal and posted at the Calcutta Bench and joined as such on 11th February 2002 initially, and subsequently transferred to the Jaipur Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal where worked in the said capacity for a period of about 8 years and demitted the office on completion of 1st term of appointment on 10th February 2007

Joined as Judicial Member at Jaipur Bench of the Tribunal on 2nd term of appointment on 10th September 2007 and finally transferred to the Principal Bench of the Tribunal where joined on 14th March 2011

Apart from appearing before the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, also performed the duties of D.D.O. as well as Head of Office
